Multidisciplinary Printmaking - Mixing Visual Vocabulary - Hong Kong Visual Arts Centre (vA!)
Each printmaking discipline has a distinctive range of marks, a visual language unique to itself. By mixing different types of printmaking, we extend and vary the range of our visual vocabulary and find new forms of expression. The demonstration will show combinations of etching, collograph, mono-type and relief print. The artist will be using the etching press to combine several processes to contrast the robust marks of lino printing with more linear etching, textural collograph and painterly monotype onto a, (previously made), digital print.
