The Development of Kung Fu Films after Bruce Lee: From The Game of Death to Bruceploitation - Hong Kong Heritage Museum
Bruce Lee's last film, the unfinished Game of Death, was initially criticised for its rough production that seemed unfaithful to the kung fu star's vision, but as time has passed a growing appreciation of what triggers our fascination with the movie has developed. Meanwhile, the sudden death of the iconic martial artist and actor led to the emergence of Bruceploitation films, several of which have, through deceptive marketing and their individual peculiarities, also attracted our interest and carved out their own distinctive niche in the industry.
